In July 2014 I started a series of blog post tutorials to help Python’s developers start coding in Scala. The tutorial tried to cover the most basic and most useful foundations of Scala to let the Python developer in the right path for learning more advanced Scala contents on his own.
Remember, and I quote myself,
There are people out there who are experts in Python. I'm not one of them. [...] Also, there are experts on Scala as well, I'm not one of those either.
This page serves as an index for all the posts compounding the tutorial.
- Part I: The Basics
- Part II: Types, Variables & Values
- Part III: Lists
- Part IV: Arrays & ListBuffers
- Part V: Control Flow Tools
- Part VI: Functions
- Part VII: Functions (II)
